I'm not sure if there ever was a thread created for this song, cos I really can't remember. But I gotta say, I thought this song was brilliant. I'm sure there will be people here who will disagree with me though.
"The Beginning is the End is the Beginning" was equally as good. I love both versions.

I prefer this one and it was great, although I like the kind of trip-hop feel on the other one. It's amazing how they released like three songs from soundtracks that not only became singles but were not anywhere close to throwaway material.
And I love a lot of pre-Gish Pumpkins as well.

Really good song by them. The song title is a mouthful, though.

I can't even remember how it goes even though I bought the soundtrack. I do kinda remember liking it.

... The End". It was one of the singles from the Batman & Robin soundtrack. I liked it a lot back then, when Billy basically could do no wrong in my eyes. It also was the second soundtrack song from the Pumpkins in 1997: "Eye" was featured in Lost Highway earlier that year. Peaks: Modern Rock Tracks: #4 Mainstream Rock Tracks: #12 Hot Dance Music/Club Play: #34 UK: #10 The video: youtube.com/watch?v=emK6MNe7Td0The remix of the song, which also appeared on the B & R soundtrack and was called "The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning", is being featured in the trailer for the upcoming Watchmen movie: www.traileraddict.com/trailer/watchmen/trailerThe trailer is being shown before The Dark Knight (needless to say, another Batman-related movie, LOL). This caused a surge in downloads of the Pumpkins' song last week.
