My Charts

Currently their last Top 20 hit to date, reaching #14 in 2000.
WIOG played this a lot when it was out, even before it hit the Top 20. Incidentally, this song took a long time to peak, as it debuted on the 5/26 chart and didn't peak until 10/13 - 21 weeks. (Only 3 weeks after that, this song went recurrent.)
My top 3 from these guys would be this song, "You Give Love a Bad Name", and "Livin' on a Prayer."
Also...this may surprise some of you, but the actor who plays Tommy (you know, the guy running to the concert) in the video is Will Estes.[/font]

A favorite of mine for the summer of 2000. They played the hell out of this song around here. I was shocked when I learned it wasn't a Top 10 hit.

I don't know. It was great to see them have something of a comeback, but I just thought it sounded so...generic and boring. However, even worse is "Have A Nice Day"...

Crap; I thought this came out in 2002. Oh well, I charted it then, and I was really into it too. It had a cool video. After "Everyday" and "Misunderstood", this one is one of my favorites.

Didn't Max Martin write/produce this song? I remember it sounded a bit like his poppy material with a Bon Jovi edge. It was ok.

I remember Jon Bon Jovi saying that Max was in the room while they were writing it, so they had to give him credit for it.

I'm just starting to slowly like this song. By no means is it my favorite BJ song, but I'm growing more tolerance for it.

One of the worst Bon Jovi song's. It sounds just like a Backstreet Boys song, and I dispise the BSB.

I liked it. To compare Bon Jovi to Backstreet Boys is really harsh, don't make him kill himself!

I really liked this song and I still like hearing it. It's too bad all his subsequent lead singles sound exactly like this one.

I liked it, but it kinda got annoying after all the overplay it got here at least.

It was great to see them have something of a comeback You're right on calling it "something". Outside the US, they never ceased to be megastars during the Keep The Faith/ Cross Road/ These Days era. In fact, that was probably their most successful period outside the US ever, bar the Slippery When Wet one.

This is one of those songs that seemed like a much bigger hit than the chart peaks indicate. It still holds up today as well imo, especially given how dated most music from that period sounds in general. I heard this every now and then at bars over the past several years.

One of the only Bon Jovi songs I actually like. Really good song, love the lyrics.
