Do you remember when Donny Osmond guest hosted for Shadoe Stevens on the Feb. 17-18, 1990 episode of American Top 40 he plugged at the end of the show his latest single "I'll Be Good To You" which was to possibly make AT40 but didn't since it didn't make Billboard's Hot 100 chart?

I don't remember him plugging this song, but I do remember the song. It hit the Top Ten on the AC chart. However, around that time, I received Benny Mardones' self-titled album that he released in 1989, with his new version of "Into The Night". That album had "I'll Be Good To You" on it. However, I heard Donny Osmond's version for the first time a few years later (my AC station did not pick up on it during the time it charted), and after a few listens, decided I liked his version better (Mardones' version was OK, but he had a very grating voice, especially when he hit the higher notes).
