It sounded like a copy of "Ladies Night", but I still liked it.
This was during the time when Kool and his Gang had some of their best songs.

It's okay, but like with "Joanna", they've had many better songs.

I just learned a few months ago that they released an AOR version of the song when this was out in 1984. Unfortunately it never charted at AOR according to my sources. I remember skating to this in 4th grade, at the same time this is the one of my least favourites by them.

Always loved this song, it had a great energy. The song was the follow-up to the #2 Joanna and went to #13 in 1984.
Kool and the Gang were always a fun group.

It also peaked at #7 R&B.
I like it, but my fave 80s hits from them will always be "Get Down It", "Joanna", "Fresh", and "Cherish".
