#20 hot 100, #18 UK (Their second biggest hit here, Hold on was their only major success peaking at #6).
Their best song I think. Very underrated. They fell out of fashion very quickly, which I think is quite surprising, as they don't sound as dated as some from that time.

I'd rank this one right behind their three #1 hits. Pretty good.

It was okay, but I like all the singles from the first album better.

On the R&R chart, it debuted at 37 and moved ahead to 26 in its second week. But as soon as it hit the Top 20, it hit a brick wall at #15 and fell fast from there. I loved this song - the saxaphone solo in the middle was awesome.

This is easily their best single IMO. I'm still surprised by the fact that it underperformed. Great song. The harmonies were on point, and I actually love the sax solo.

It was their 5th and last #1 hit on the US Music Survey.

It was their 5th and last #1 hit on the US Music Survey. Was Wilson Phillips in the US Music Survey spotlight this past week? It's so funny, when Dick Clark was hosting the show, he always mentioned that this song peaked at number two - he even omitted this song from the chronology of number one hits that he always plays on his year end show before the number one song of the year. But I remember hearing the show on which this song was number one, so he must have made an error in his listing of stats. JoshJoel mentioned the follow-up hit "Give It Up". That song I liked at first but quickly grew tired of. The third hit, however, was my favorite of the three songs released from "Shadows And Light". The song was "Flesh And Blood", which was a heartfelt plea to Wendy and Carnie Wilson's estranged father. I could relate to this song, since my father and I had gone through a strained relationship in the early 90s and were in the process of trying to improve it (which ended up happening just months after this song hit the mid-chart area on the AC chart in early 1993. If that song doesn't move you, better check your pulse.

I like it, cuz it's not overplayed like "Hold On" and "Release Me."

Good song, but I prefer their 1990 hits.

Love this song... Too bad they tried to sex up the image with the video and turn off their fan base at the same time...,
