I love this song! This is like a definitive high school era song for me, since 3eb was the biggest band (besides DMB of course) back then! And this was featured in Can't Hardly Wait, haha. But it still sounds great and relative today!
Anyway, this is my favorite single from their debut. Of course, it didn't do nearly as much as the 3 big hits from that album.
Where did this peak at Alternative and Billboard's Modern Rock chart?

This was always one of my least favorite songs on the album, but now I can tolerate it fairly well.

I always liked this one too. Semi-charmed was my favorite and got me to buy the CD, but I liked Graduate quite a bit too.
Now I want to go listen to it.

This was good at the time, but after awhile I liked it less and less. Overall, the arrangement is poor, and musically, the song is pretty skeletal. It's not bad, but it's no wonder that every other one of their singles from the album did better.

I liked the song, though it's definitely not among my 3EB favorites. "Semi-Charmed Life" and "Motorcycle Drive By" are way better...but this song is still great. Damn...this was one great band.

The clip from their official website sounded like a hot mess.

From what I've heard, they no longer say "graduate" in the song, and have substituted it for "masturbate".
Otherwise, it's the exact same song.
This deserved to be a much bigger hit than it was. I can understand why it wouldn't have had a chance mainstream at the time, but on Modern Rock it should have went Top 5.
I like the feedback and amp-effects blazing through the track. It really drives the song home.
This song is still a far cry to the lyrical brilliance of "God Of Wine", "Motorcycle Drive-By" and "In The Background", but nevertheless a high quality track.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Pretty good song, but doesn't touch a candle to Narcolepsy and quite a few other tracks from the album. I forgot this was even a single though, oops.

I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH! Third Eye Blind really blew me away with their music. I still adore their sound and style.

One of my favorites by them. I loved a lot of songs from their debut, but I didn't like that much by them after it (just a track here and there).
