This was a #1 single back in the day. I used to love this one.

I like this one too. They had a few other good songs around this time, but this is still their best.

Cool song. Too bad the lead singer's no longer with us.
One of the members of Hi Five had a cousin who went to my high school and was a grade below me. The girls hung around him like flies because of that.

Let us throw it back to 1991 *In my best Tavis Smiley impression* when Hi-Five hit it big with their 2nd single "I Like The Way (Kissing Game)" off of their debut album. Produced by Teddy Riley in his prime during the New Jack Swing era. This quintet R&B group from the great state of Texas, Waco to be exact, snatched my little soul while living in Sands Points Apartments in Houston. It reached #1 on the Hot 100 for 1 week and sealed the deal for me that this was great music. I miss this kind of music. It was everything to me while growing up and it brings back such heavy nostalgic feels.

I didn't like this too much and prefer their other upbeat song "She's Playing Hard to Get" over it. This song was played alot on B96 and WGCI in my market back then.

New Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Teddy Riley produced and co-wrote this jam.
If you had the Apollo crowd with you, that really meant something!
