Exactly! Beyonce is like the Janet, Whitney, Diana, or Brandy of this era! Brandy shouldn't be part of that group... Beyonce's signature is CIL for the moment but Irreplaceable could definitely become it - its so catchy. I think Irreplaceable has replaced CIL as her signature song (or at least tied it)

You can have two siganture songs I think. (Like Christina has Genie In A Bottle and Beautiful). I'll be interesting to see which song Beyonce performs last on her tour.

Right, but if it was really a good song to open with like you said, she would have ;) I think Crazy In Love will still be a closer. She'll perform it as the last song and be like "Good night, people". Then the lights will go out, and a few clueless people will leave. But people in the know and her fans will wait knowing that Irreplaceable will be the encore.

You just can't stick 'Irreplaceable' in the middle. If CIL is going to close the show, she should open with 'Irreplaceable'.

You just can't stick 'Irreplaceable' in the middle. If CIL is going to close the show, she should open with 'Irreplaceable'. I don't think it's uptempo enough. You can't really dance to it. (not that beyonce can really dance, but you know what i mean)

Who said Irreplaceable had to be in the middle? That can be the very last song. Deja Vu should open the show. That way its not too close to Crazy In Love and its still uptempo.

irreplaceable def should not open the show. that would be awkward. but besides that i find it funni we're predicting the order of songs being performed on her tour

i think CIL will always be her signature song, it's a classic. it's her breakout single for her solo work CIL not only brought Go-Go music to the masses, but it also created a dance phenomenon(Uh-Oh), was a critic smash, song of the summer, and a complete off-the-wall surprise, being that elevated Beyonce from bubble-gum pop artist to young funky diva/Urban Barbarella. It was a phenomenon. Irreplaceable, aside from its catchy hook, is just another successful updated ladies anthem only with a nice pop flair. It's the sole Beyonce/DC ballad to top the charts and the biggest hit of her career, but it won't replace CIL.

I think it will. Irreplaceable will be her "signature" song, although I think it's pretty dumb to use that phrase.

I agree with Pulse about the comment on Beyonce can have two signature songs. CIL and Irreplaceable are both really great songs. If I had to pick one, I would say CIL is the signature song but both of them should be. I love the predictions of which songs Bee should perform first and last.

Bee is looking Good! She looks good. Oh wait that's right I'm single on Valentines Day. SHE LOOKS @#%!ING HAWTER THAN HELL WOO HOOOO! :o :o I can stare at this all day and not get in trouble..see there ARE perks to being single on this day Ok , just noticed this was an Irreplaceable thread and not BDay album thread lol. About the longevity of this song, I've been looking over the numbers...the main reason for its longevity is unusal 'catch up' spikes of this song. 4 stations gave it a 30-58 spin increase and most are still keeping it in top 5. Once it decreases from there were gonna see a tremendous drop, I'm expecting -1500ish but that doesn't mean it didn't have great longevity, its basically just a different approach from the longevity were used to seeing, it could even become the common trend of a song with longevity - who knows.
