#10 R&R's Urban Chart in 1985 #7 on the UK Pop Singles chart
The English female singer really jammed up the radio airwaves with this joint produced by the hit making team Stock Aiken & Waterman. She did not have too much of any follow-ups here in the US though she did have a couple more hits over in her homeland. The song here was later cover by Laura Enea ("The Last Time"), which I have yet to hear.

Didn't make it to USA radio airwaves! Oh yes it did! It was constantly on the radio back in 1985 epecially where I Lived (Wichita, KS) on the - then KBUZ. As a matter of fact I heard this here in the US first assuming she was American until I heard speak on a radio interview. On the US Urban radio charts it peaked at #10 and they spinned that record even a few weeks after that. And then best friend and his sister are absolutely familar with that jam and we all live in Minneapolis.

I like it. I think it may have been produced by SAW, despite the fact that it sounds nothing like them.

^Yeah it's a Stock Aitken Waterman production, that being said.. I think this is actually my fav. song from a sound standpoint they have ever produced. It's perfectly urban and just works for me for some reason... anything they produced for Mel and Kim (ie like songs like Respectable) and Princess and artists of that vein always had off the chain productions for their songs when it came to SAW.

One of the best Stock Aitken Waterman productions even if its not as well known as some of the big hits from Rick Astley, Kylie Minogue, Dead or Alive, Donna Summer, etc. Used to hear this on some of the old school R&B/80s dance internet radio stations that I used to listen to. music video www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0hbnqKdPZw12 inch version www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAIT8759d9c
