On my semilocal affiliate KFMN on Kauai, John Wada told me they download the show weekly from the website and it takes quite awhile. It doesn't get shipped by mail on compact discs. I guess Tom Furci was taking a break. It's always a great show although an alternate host would have been more appropriate.

Do they ever mention the charts on this show? For example: "This was the #1 song exactly 20 years ago this week..."

Do they ever mention the charts on this show? For example: "This was the #1 song exactly 20 years ago this week..." Tom usually talks about a news story of a particular year, then he will mention here's a top five/ten song or song that was climbing the chart from (that year 198_) artist/title. He definetely won't pull a Casey Kasem though. I've heard him mention Billboard but never Radio & Records (R&R) on the show.

^Most radio shows the likes of Magic Of The 80s refer to Billboard when talking about chart peaks.
