I liked this song. When Casey played this as part of the Top 100 of 1991, the obnoxious talking was taken out.

I liked this song. When Casey played this as part of the Top 100 of 1991, the obnoxious talking was taken out. He also cut out the second verse of "I Saw Red" by Warrant in that same hour (Hour 1). But, when you have to cram twelve songs into an hour, I guess you sort of have to (although Ryan Seacrest didn't seem to have any problem doing so in his Top 100 of 2004, since he concentrated more on playing music. Unlike Rick Dees, he can suspend the talking aspect of the show for just two weeks out of the year). Oh yeah, the song? I thought it was pretty good. The opening notes remind me of "Only Women" by Alice Cooper, one of my favorite songs of all time.

The talking was the best part of the song. Cool song.

So do I. Even though it's somewhat overrated compared to their other songs I happen to really love it. And to enable the right spelling of the band's name, Alt 152=ÿ.

I liked it more when it was a hit than I do now.

This shouldn't have been their only Top 40 hit. There were a couple of songs off of "Operation...Mindcrime" that I thought could have been hits, like "Eyes of A Stranger" and "I Don't Believe In Love". It was probably a hit because it was different than anything else they had done.

Silent Lucidity reached #9 on the Hot 100 in 1991 and was the group's only pop single

I was never a huge fan of this band, but I like this song.

Lyrically this is the best song to go top10 ever. And it comes pretty close musically, too.

This seems like it would be a great Hot AC hit for today, but I haven't heard it in years.
