The Larry Santos song is on Volume 2 of "Barry Scott's Lost 45s". A good one, but not my favorite on the CD (that would probably be "If You Remember Me" by Chris Thompson).

Both songs from 1976: Santos #36 and Cain #44
Haven't heard the Santos in years, used to really like that one. Never heard the Cain song before.

I'm listening to Larry Santos now; it almost sounds like Chris Rea. Not bad at all.

some more i used to play a lot but you never hear anymore are david gates "clouds" and diana ross "the boss" long version. an other one that cracks my up but also liked a lot was sam neely "lovin you just crossed my mind". the larry santos song is one of my total favorites of all time.

I hear "That's The Way Of The World" on oldies-based AC stations occasionally. That's probably my favorite EW+F song of all time.

How about "Themes From the Wizard of Oz" by Meco, #35 on Billboard Hot 100 in 1978.

I like "Hello It's Me" by Todd Rundgren. This should get as much airplay as an Elton John song from the 70s does now.
