A surprise #2 smash in 1995. One hit wonder, of course. She represented the UK at the Eurovision song contest a few years ago with a rubbish song called 'Don't Play that Song Again'. I think she came about 3rd from bottom. Wasn't even a hit in the UK.

Liked it better than the original 80's version. Both original and remix of this song were good.

I don't really know the difference between the original and this one, but whichever one I know, it's hot

Very cheesy and camp but it's so much fun and so energetic at the same time.

I love it. I admire covers that are very different from the original.

I love Nikki's version.
The original is a little too dated for me.

The Bonnie Tyler version was much better. However, since the discussion is about Nikki French, I liked the remix better than the ballad.

Remember when Rick Dees played the Peter & The Polkameisters version as a Weekly Top 40 Challenge?

There was one that pretty much was all dance (save for the ending), and then one that was a mix of slow and fast, correct?

Nicki's cover of the Bonnie Tyler classic turned the haunting ballad into a dance hit, reaching #2 on the Hot 100 and #3 on the Pop chart. The song also reached #5 in the UK.

Although this song was her big hit back then, the Australian Pee-Wee Edit of For All We Know was my favorite song by her and probably one of my favorite euro songs ever. It's a shame it was so underrated.

I'm quite surprised at how big this was outside the dance audience. There is nothing at all that is particularly special about it.

A lot of dance acts had one big hit in the 90s (and a lot of them were foreign acts), but most of them ended up being one-hit wonders

Love this song. Which version received airplay back in '95?
