Arguably one of her best (pop) singles she's ever recorded. It's ashamed this didn't crack the Top 10 on airplay. I think this hit #2 in the UK and #3 in Australia(?).
I didn't think the Ruff & Jam (US) remix was necessary.

I loved the album version. I didn't like the US edit. This is possibly my favorite Kylie song, battling alongside "On A Night Like This" for that title.
05/16/02: "Love At First Sight" [#2] [29 weeks]
It made it to #15 for 2002.

Awesome Song. I'm not much into Dance Pop music, but I actually enjoyed this song. It's a great album to clean the house to. ;)

The "Ruff & Jam vocal 7" 3:48 US radio mix is the only reason I like this song! The music video was good and went better with th US mix than the girlie album version. Album version lack a kick to it.

I love it. It's a close run between this, Confide In Me, What Do I have To Do, And Better The Devil You Know for my fave Kylie single of all time.
HATED that horrible US mix.

Dees used to play the album version. Interestingly, he played that song TWICE as a Sure Shot. I don't think that's happened with any other song except that one by Anastancia because it was re-released.

"And everything went from rock to rap!" - "Love At First Sight," Edf85
I loved both the album and remix versions, but it had a short run on my chart.

Not bad. My favorite single from Fever is In Your Eyes, but I'm still pretty bummed that Fever wasn't released as a single.

I love the album version. The other one was mediocre.
MyTop 5 Kylie hits:
1. Come Into My World (album version) 2. Can't Get You Out of My Head 3. Love At First Sight (album version) 4. Locomotion

AT40 played a Kylie montage a couple years ago when "Can't Get You Out of My Head" was on the countdown. It was good to hear that. I wish I would've taped it.

I hated this song. I tried so hard to like it, since I had loved "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", but I couldn't. I hated it. I found it to be so annoying...

I just didn't like the album version. The U.S. Radio Mix was soooo much better. I wonder why they didn't include that on the album. That was the best mix.

Great Kylie song, and the one that introduced me to her further (since this was the first video I saw of her; I saw "Can't Get You Outta My Head" like 3 months after!).

I liked the US single release much more than the album version. It was funkier and a little retro. I first heard it on KTU before my friend's senior prom on May 1st, 2002.

I am bewildered by the amount of people who liked the album version of this. I absolutely HATED it. In fact, there's a drag queen at the bar where I work who frequently does this song. She sends up the album and tells me to play that track. Every single time, I dig out the Promo Only cd with the Ruff & Jam mix, because I refuse to listen to that awful album version. I really just don't like it at all. If we're referring to the Ruff & Jam Edit, I'd have to say it's my favorite Kylie song, closely followed by Spinning Around.
Peace, Ben
