I am bewildered by the amount of people who liked the album version of this. And I am bewildered by the reverse - that so many prefer the radio mix. The album version has a smooth sound to it, while the radio mix lives up to its very name - ruff (rough). #1 for 2 weeks on my chart, and my #7 of 2002. (Though, that was the year I used chart points rather than inverse points.)

Oh man, I was so obsessed with this song when it was out! I was just messing around on youtube and it came up so I watched it and it reminded me of when I was like 12 years old and had the biggest crush on her...haha!! The video was weird, but I really enjoyed the clips when it was on TRL.

I think this is my favorite from her. Whenever I hear this song, the first thing that comes to mind is KTU since they use to play this a lot in 2002. I remember this song, Dirty Vegas "Days go by", Perpetuous Dreamer "The sound of goodbye" and others from KTU during that year. Oh the memories. :'( Edit: I just remembered that there's an aircheck of KTU in 2002 on The Top 8 at 8 with Vic Latino that played all those songs I mentioned above: airchexx.com/2011/02/09/vinnie-latino-the-top-8-at-8-wktu-103-5-the-beat-of-new-york-june-25-2002/

I've always preferred this to "Can't Get You Outta My Head".

Not my fav. single from the Fever era (and obviously not my fav. song from it, More More More is), but this is a another pivotal Kylie song. Out of the singles from Fever I'd put Come Into My World as my favorite though.

Great song in Summer '02, it's sound was a lot more different than anything else at that time as well. Pretty sure it went to #11 on CHR, definitely went at least 20 weeks as well.

I love it, album version or radio mix- the radio mix does add some punch to it (mostly in the section leading up to the second verse). I miss that "punch" in the album version.

Strange, heard this today. Was a great song back then and did fairly well on the charts. If this was released today it may do even better and go Top 5. She was really ahead of her time with her music, video was very bizarre and futuristic too.

"Ahead of her time" and Kylie don't really go together in a sentence. This was pure pop, and pretty enjoyable at that.

I don't think it was ahead of its time as much as the sound has come full circle. Radio was starting to stray away from that pure pop sound right after "Love at First Sight" hit and now they're returning to it with this latest implosion of dance-pop and records like "Call Me Maybe".
In terms of being ahead of her time- the only Kylie single I'd give that label to is "Slow".

Another fan as well. Can't believe no one mentioned that Kylie had a different song called "Love at First sight" from her 1988 debut Kylie album. That's good as well.

My favorite single off of Fever. I much prefer this to the annoying, overplayed "Can't Get You Out of My Head". I remember being glued to the radio that summer waiting for "Love At First Sight" to play. I love that chorus, and the melody is so happy!

I much prefer this to CGYOOMH. I bought Fever on a trip to Amsterdam in 2001 and on the drive home from Chicago airport we listened to the CD and never made it past this track! To me, everything about this track personifies what Kylie is as a pop star. She really had 2 hits to build from and then they killed it with CIMW. LAFS would have charted higher if sales, airplay etc would have peaked at the same time. I'm still pressed that IYE never got released here...I think that would have smashed.

One of her best singles, as well as the one that caused me to look into her discography. Fantastic era as a whole, really.
