I can only find the full length version of the CJ Mackintosh remix on YouTube, not the radio edit. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzo3XnONnbQLuther's greatest hits that focused on his 90s material included the Morales/Knuckles remix of the song instead of the album version. Thanks! :) I don't like that remix either, but I guess it's better than the soundtrack version. Still surprised it received airplay. But in 1992, would you be surprised it received airplay? The Knuckles and Mackintosh sounds were quite popular. And Janet was coming off of Rhythm Nation...

It entered Shadoe Stevens' AT40 at #13 in May 1992.

I believe that's when the countdown was based on Billboard's Hot 100 Airplay chart?

I believe that's when the countdown was based on Billboard's Hot 100 Airplay chart? You mean Billboard Top 40 Radio Monitor chart which Shadoe Stevens' AT40 used from November 1991 to December 1992.

^Yes- wasn't sure when the name shifted from "Top 40 Radio Monitor" to "Hot 100 Airplay."

I'm just finding out this features BBD and Ralph Tresvant. lol. The version I heard a few years ago was the original without them. I think it works better without the raps. You guys were right about the other mixes.

Love Janet's solo part on this after the first chorus.
I've got so much love for you and it's easy to give it when I know you feel the same way too

The chorus to this is so catchy and the pre-chorus is absolute ACES. Not a major highlight for either artist really. I know the remixes seem to be the more popular version, but I prefer the album version. I think the production makes it a tad more hard hitting and substantial (although the remixes are fine).

Baby." CJ's Mix and the Classic Mix are both vast improvements on the original for me.

The original New Jack Swing-like version is meh but the Classic 7" mix done by David Morales/Frankie Knuckles is incredible because that was the version my top 40 station (b96 Chicago) played a lot and continued to play as gold/recurrent throughout the 1990s. Don't care for the BBD rap vocal parts though.

The chorus to this lives in my head forever. Catchy and upbeat.
I don't know a single lyric to this song outside of the hook.

I'm surprised this wasn't a bigger hit in the U.S. since both Luther and Janet were coming off big eras. I just looked at the stats, and its sales weren't great (67-17-18-21-23 in its first 5 weeks and never got any higher). Top 10 airplay is what got it a #10 peak on the Hot 100.

This was a nice track. The Mo' Money soundtrack was very good. I really miss the New Jack Swing era.

I had the Sdtk this came off of. I always liked this song. I’m surprised so many people on here don’t. It’s not to far off from some of Janet’s other stuff?? At the time I liked a decent amount of the Sdtk to..
