Fantastic band! This 1994 song features Mazzy Star's Hope Sandoval, and was a nice duet. It turned out to be the group's first - and only - song to crack the Hot 100.

AHHHHH
I can't believe someone mentioned this band on this board.
They are one of my favorite bands ever.
Honey's Dead & Automatic are underrated.
I think all the fans of stuff like this need to form our own little club on the forum. ;)

Haha, sounds good to me. Pretty soon the "Holiday Releases" subforum won't be needed for another year, so why not replace it with a Jesus and Mary Chain forum? :)
This brings up another "legend" vs "protege" poll to follow up PJ & KT:
Velvet Underground or Jesus and Mary Chain?

Good question!
I'd probably pick VU, but I listen to JAMC more often these days.
But then, JAMC are the progenitors to the following bands: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Black Angels Brian Jonestown Massacre & plenty of others (not to mention helping "birth" shoegazing)
And they all are great.
But yeah, we're starting an obscuro forum here soon (even though the title is inaccurate, it's catchy!)

I'm probably too un-alternative to get the appeal of this band , maybe I will someday ,but right now they're just another overhyped brit-rock band to me.

They are amazing, this song was one of my favourites in summer 1994, along the other Hope Sandoval related song "Fade Into You".
I prefer "Just Like Honey", though, but who cares? If you get their singles collection you'll have both! :)

Just go buy all their albums, plus the three b-sides albums, and you'll be fine.
