This medicoce version was released in the summer of 1996, following the success of Los Del Rio's hit. Not nearly as good or catchy.

Uhm, Los Del Mar's version was all over the airwaves in Europe in the summer of 1995, but I'm not 100% sure.

I used to see the video for this one on The Box all the time when this one came out. The original Los Del Rio video was shown a lot too. Sometimes both videos would be shown back to back.
I never really liked this cover that much, but I liked the production a little better. It was in a slightly different key than the Los Del Rio one.
The first and original Los Del Rio version of the song was released in 1993 before the Bayside Boys remix came out in 1996.

On the August 12-13, 1995 edition of Rick Dees Weekly Top 40, Rick played a drop of it while announcing the tops of the other charts. It was #1 on the dance chart that week.
