Here's a good rockin' tune that made the summer of 1986 sizzle. This was the only chart hit for Device. It was a very catchy song, with excellent guitar licks, and a great jammin' beat. I'm awful surprised that this song isn't played at all anymore.

Never really got into this one, but group member Holly Knight has written a ton of other catchy tunes that I love.

I love the song.
I heard it in 2002, via Nina Blackwood's Absolutely '80s--a radio show that was had by the now-defunct 105.9 The Maxx (WYJS): Jackson's short-lived '80s station (May 27, 2002-January 12, 2003).

i think holly knight had a fling with mark knopfler. i like this song altho its only airplay in ny area was courtesy of wlir/wdre.

When I did personal charts in 1986 this one reached number one, then I found the Living In Obliblion one day and I felt like my prayers were answered and I found the song again! You see after the song peaked at number 35, I thought that I'd never hear that song again, besides I was living in the UK at the time.

This record got to #35 on the Hot 100 in 1986 and it was the biggest hit as a performer for Holly Knight

I was amazed that this song managed to rate a slot on SongPop! Good for me, cause my challenger didn't know it!
