Talk about nostalgia... I love this! It's sweet, simple and succeeds in not sounding cheesy, IMO. I keep hearing this song because every few years the eponymous TV series is rerun, to my immense pleasure. Jarreau was nominated twice at the Grammy Awards for this single, without winning though.

Very classy, sentimental song.
I still liked the TV show better than the song, though.

Despite its #23 peak at Billboard, this song didn't get any higher than #38 at R&R. Must have gotten tons of sales points.

I didn't know it did that well on Billboard. Anyhow, this is a great song. In fact, I heard it at a Wal-Mart in northwest Indiana last weekend.
