Another early 90s classic! This song stayed with me as much as Brenda did with I Still Believe.
I love this song and still play it til this day.

I remember hearing this on Joel Denver's Future Hits and on Casey's Top 40. Slow and sappy but tolerable.

lmao she should of been much bigger than what she was, for the time frame you would of thought a song like this would of charted way higher. She is one hell of of vocalist and I can see why people compare/compared her to the likes of Whitney and Mariah from a vocal standpoint.

lmao she should of been much bigger than what she was This is a fact! I paid a pretty penny collecting all of her Japanese albums. She shows up singing backup vocals on a bunch of other pop artists' releases as well. Big fan of this woman's voice. Considering that she barely had any hits, she still got a few albums out of the deal. Definitely worth tracking down, her voice is one of the BEST.

She sounded a lot like Whitney on this song. The song itself is not that good, but those vocals!
It went Top 5 at AC in the US and Top 10 in the UK.

Didn't know this song existed until I heard it on a 1993 episode of the long-defunct rhythmic countdown show "American Dance Traxx" on MixCloud. This song's starting to grow on me.

I saw this was top-10 on iTunes R&B (and the album inside the top-30) and wondered if was possibly because she passed away (I know) but, thankfully, she is alive and well and that voice is powerful as ever!

I loved this song when it was out and still do. It was obvious they were going for a Whitney type (Bodyguard era) ballad. There’s even a key change or she goes up a few notes that’s like a part in “I Have Nothing”. In Boston where I’m from it was on our local Top 40 station all the time. I was kind of surprised when I saw the charts statistics for this.
