Hmm...I dont like it. I was excited to hear with comparisons to Breakaway, but eh just doesnt have the same effect for me. I like Avril, but I dont like this. It sounds so much like other songs. It will probably grow on me but as of now, not liking it.
hopefully she's sorted out her identity by now. Punk rock or modeling?

well, i just asked because i saw what she was modeling and it was nothing like I expected. i saw her with curly locks, a creme colored dress with a pearl necklace, and I was just like "not what I expected, who is she?" you know what i mean.

So , when does her CD come out? In April. This song is for the Eragon soundtrack, it isn't her lead single. I'm guessing the lead single should be out around February. |

I probably won't buy it...depends on the actual release date and single, but as of now, I won't.
But she is very talented and the song is great...but who knows.

I just listened to this song for the first time. I'm amazed that the melody is so simple yet it's so emotional and catchy. Amazing track, truly. It's a shame is being released apart of a soundtrack, instead of the new album....hey, maybe it'll pull a Breakaway. then the new album will be called "Keep Holding On".  |

I like the song but it hasn't yet caught up with me. I hope Avril isn't going to take this direction with her new CD.
Honestly, I don't know what direction I'd like to see Avril do. I think both of her CDs could have either been hit or miss with me and it just happened that they both hit. I hope she doesn't go soft, as she is in this song, but at the same time, I hope she doesn't go more poppy, or even punk and I don't think alternative-sounding rock would fit her. That doesn't leave her anywhere, really, that she could go. lol. I'll have to wait and see.
Just thought I'd add that the soundtrack also features Jem on a song called 'Once In Every Lifetime'.

Under My Skin is one of my top 3 albums ever, so I'm hoping she does something different, but still kinda like UMS.
(my other top 3 albums are Lisa Marie Presley's To Whom It May Concern/Now What and JoJo's The High Road.)
