Hooch only got to #79 in 1998 but might have gone higher if album tracks were eligible

This was the cut. I don't like the CHR version that they first issued out to CHR radio. I absolutely love the LP version that Casey Kasem played on his countdowns. I still play it today! Forget the about Hot 100, man it got to #14 on the CHR radio charts! It spent a total of 24 weeks on the chart! Too bad they are one hit wonders, their follow-up "Good Thing" peaked at #47.

Catchy and fun! One of my favorites of '98.
"Hooch" reached #34 on the Billboard airplay chart, and peaked at #12 on the Adult Top 40 chart.

It peaked at #14 on R&R pop, and at #10 on R&R Hot AC.
One of the reasons 1998 remains my favorite year in music.

Ska music seems to be an under-rated genre. I like a lot of songs that are ska-influenced, such as "Hooch".

I always thought this was somewhat overrated. Does anyone remember "Unconditional", which got a few spins on CHR/Pop and Alternative back in 2001? I liked that one more.
