In 2003, a Dutch production duo remade Ready For The World's "Oh Sheila" with a female vocalist named Lara McAllen. They originally got the idea to remake the song after they found an acapella of the original version by RFTW back in 1999. It was a huge hit at MIDEM. Soon this got licensed all over and did pretty well.
I discovered this little gem in April 2004 when Party 92.7 was stunting. During their final days on the air, they added all this new dance music including this song. Initially, I thought it was a little annoying because they were playing it once an hour. But when the station ended, I didn't get to hear it anymore. Then I got it eventually and liked it.

I still listen to the Rezonance Q version of this.
And the Cut Up Boys mashup mix which used Deepest Blue's "Deepest Blue" as the instrumental.
