Looks like Shania Twain's time on top has come to an end, and once again Uncle Kracker's "Drift Away" takes command for a 22nd non-consecutive week (21 consecutive weeks previously).
How long can Uncle Kracker remain on top in its new non-consecutive run and will Train or matchbox twenty topple him first?
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I'm confused---I'm almost sure I heard somewhere that "Unwell" reached #1 on the AC chart. Was that on Billboard? I thought it was mentioned on AT40.,

AC radio just can't let songs go. While I know a lot of people who don't mind this song, does anyone really like it enough to spend over 20 weeks at #1?

One of the problems is that AC radio is very weak right now. Why songs like "Look Through My Eyes" and "Stand By Your Side" are not racing up the chart is beyond me. In favor of these "newer" acts, AC radio has alienated some of the artists that are core for their format. *sigh* I just hope that someone dislodges Uncle Kracker soon, or a new entry in the record books will be made...
