Jessica Andrews, "Who I Am" (Rosemary's Granddaughter) I love this song. Even though Jessica didn't have a hand in writing it, the lyrics really mean something. They're positive and inspiring. Each time I listen to "Who I Am," it makes me smile. The video was awesome. After it hit #1 on Country, Dreamworks tried to cross it over to CHR/Pop. Unfortunately, it did not explode on Pop. Does anyone know where it stalled? This is Jessica's biggest hit so far on Country. I didn't like anything else on the album of the same name and I don't blame the follow-up singles ("Hopelessly, Helplessly" and especially "Karma") for underperforming. I forgot what English essay I quoted "Who I Am" lyrics for, but my teacher really liked it. "I'm a saint and I'm a sinner I'm a loser, I'm a winner I'm steady and unstable I'm young but I am able."Video link: launch.yahoo.com/artist/videos.asp?artistID=1040112

I love this song, "Hopelessly, Helplessly" was just as good if not better.

I love this song! My pop station even played this, when I got into the charts I was suprised it didn't make Top 40.

This was definitely my favorite country song of 2001.

Good song. I prefer "There's More To Me Than You" however.

Yes, it was good, but she's had as good or better songs that radio completely ignored. This is her only Top 10 hit.
I love the songs from her first album, particularly "Unbreakable Heart".

I love this song, ever since I heard it on that anti-drug movie or whatever that was shown at my school! A few nights ago, I listened to it several times in a row. It's really good.

Me and my ex used to work at Big Lots and it used to be played all the time and I got pretty sick of it fast. Not really a bad song but nothing I really got into.

I didn't like it because it had a chorus full of a bunch of stuff that I just don't care about.

Right I'm not. I also don't think this is a country song, at all. That's not why I don't like it. The song tries too hard to be about something important and comes off (in my ears) as being about nothing at all.

I like this song, but it's nowhere near my favorite of hers. The singles she's released from her new CD are, IMO, much better. Too bad none of them caught on like this one did.

I love this song, ever since I heard it on that anti-drug movie or whatever that was shown at my school! I remember that! They show all the singers whose songs will be featured in the anti-drug film at the beginning. I don't think I heard Jessica's song because we had to end the video early because we started late and the next class was coming in. :(

Great song! I liked the album too, which I usually don't listen to many country albums, but it didn't seem overly country.

This is a great song. Very catchy, nice message, and Jessica can sing! It still sounds good despite all the repeated listens.

I miss her. The label dropped her after trying several singles from what was supposed to be her 4th album. The album never came out. >:(

This is a really nice song with inspiring lyrics about knowing yourself and being proud of who you are. My favorite song from her, and I admit I haven't heard too many, is "Every Time." That's a beautiful song.
