One thing I hate about the Vanessa Carlton singles is that they all have this certain style that makes me envision some sort of frolicking meadow with little girls skipping around. It has to do with the strings I think. Because of that, I always have a tendency to roll my eyes uncontrollably whenever a song of hers comes on. Her latest single is like that.

You'll like "Private Radio." ;) I'm so glad to see how many people like this song. It's my second favorite song ever. It's so inspiring, enchanting. The musical errangement is beautiful, and the tune is catchy as hell.

I thought "Pretty Baby" was a very bad single choice "Pretty Baby" was not a bad single choice. The only bad thing about it was that they made a radio version. The album version is far superior to the radio version, IMO.

I love it, Vanessa Carlton is one of my favorite artists, all of her songs have a meaning and sometimes I have to look up a word in the dictionary to see what it means because she has such a sophisticated vocabulary. I think she is one of the most unique artist this decade. It is hard to keep tabs on her though because she keeps such a low profile.

Not exactly one of those songs that gets stuck in your head (not in my experience anyway) but still an alright tune. The strings are the only thing I love about it.

Like this song a lot... enough different from "A Thousand Miles" that it showed her versatility.... I just LOVE her voice... and she plays a pretty mean piano too!

I didn't care for this song. "A Thousand Miles" was way better.

I think this is a beautiful song. I like it just as much as "1000 Miles". I never even knew she released it as a single.

Love Vanessa and this song, especially the following line:
And as I looked up into those eyes, his vision borrows mine

I remember this one. It was nice follow up to "A Thousand Miles".

I like this song somewhat but I do find the chorus melody to be pretty confusing rhythmically. Very hard to sing along to. I'm actually pretty surprised it did as well as it did on radio

Love this song, the orchestra really sells it.
