This is one of my favourite songs by this woman. This was her US break through single getting tons of airplay on BET and Urban radio. The album "Diamond Life" is a surefire collector's item IMO, I'd take that along with albums by Joe "Everything", Billy Ocean "Suddenly", and Jodeci's "Forever My Lady" to name a few if I was forced to go on a deserted island.

"Hang On To Your Love" is my second favorite Sade single behind "The Sweetest Taboo". This song has such an irresistible upbeat groove while maintaining a sexual, yet classy vibe.
This hit #14 R&B and #5 in the clubs.

This is a really good song. But I wouldn't expect anything less. Single-wise, Sade has never released a bad song IMO.

Another favorite... Sade was really on fire in that 1985-1987 period.

I love this song, especially the lyrics and what they mean; promoting strength and unity and the willingness to fight for love.

Such a jam. My parents used to shove Sade, Anita Baker, Teena Marie, and Maze down my throat when I was younger and I couldn't stand it. I finally appreciate them.
