I love this song! I even heard a remix of this song in 2002, via Absolutely '80s.

JAM!! I remember this from 3rd grade!!! There's a park in my hometown that's called West End Park, so my lil sister & I thought the song was about girls walking thru that particular park. LOL I was a kid; I didn't know any better! This was a JAM though.

So much love for this song, classic and pretty quintessential as far as I'm concerned.

My favorite track from the Pet Shop boys. One of the best 80s synthpop/dance pop tracks. Heard this as an 80s gold title on 101.9 The Mix and the defunct 80s channel WXXY 103.1 when I was younger. I prefer the LP version to the radio edit. Never knew there was an version that existed (the 1984 original produced by Bobby Orlando) before the more familiar 1986 version that became a big pop hit worldwide. That version is actually good. Just not as good as the 1986 version. Album version www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twv_40XfBnworiginal 1984 version www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXRqGfF64zQ
