I had to crank this one everytime it came on the radio back in 1995. This is one of my all-time favorite rock songs. I am pretty sure this one went top 10 on the pop charts, right?

Good song by Van Halen. It also sounded rather poppy, for some reason.

This is probably the last great (of many) Van Halen songs.

this is a pretty good track... but the vocals seemed too "heartwrenching" even though they are supposed to sound that way, it doesn't work for me

Meh... the only Van Hagar song I really like is "Why Can't This Be Love" (which is one of my favorite songs of the '80s).

I like it. I haven't heard this or any other Van Halen song in ages, well except "Jump" which is played frequently at NHL arenas in the background when I watch hockey on TV lol.

It's okay.. for the most part, I preferred the VH singles with Diamond Dave.

I'll take the Hagar-led VH any day over DLR.

I'll meet ya halfway. I'll take Hagar easily over Gary Cherone! ;)
I do like "Why Can't This Be Love" and "Dreams" a lot.

I never heard a VH song under Gary Cherone. My favorite VH song overall is "When It's Love".

They were obviously trying to woo the Hot AC crowd with this song (and then they tried the AC one when they released "Not Enough"). And who could blame them? It was 1995, and grunge and alt.rock had pretty much erased not only the hair-metal bands, but also a lot of the Classic Rock acts were falling by the wayside, and rock radio sure was beginning to reflect this. So, in a way, they followed Bon Jovi's lead in trying to grow up with their audience, while keeping just enough tabs with what tickled the younger generation's fancy. And by 1995 standards, achieving 2x platinum with an album apparently so out of time like Balance wasn't too shabby.
