I hear this almost daily on my AC Station LITE 105. I love this song and IMO is the best single by them.

It's definitely my favorite of their adult contemporary phase but I much prefer their 70's rock material.

Not my favorite of theirs, but it still is among their best songs.

GREAT SONG! But I like just about anything by Heart. I have a ballads CD that was a Japan import. It is one of my favorite travel CD's along with their Greatest Hits.
"Magic Man", "Alone", and "Never" are my favorites by them.

I hear this almost daily on my AC Station LITE 105. Yeah, I wonder why they never play it on AT10? ;) Seriously, this is a great song. It's so ironic that Heart had all those Top 40 songs with Ann Wilson singing lead, then the first one with Nancy taking the reins shoots straight to the top? Ann Wilson eventually had a #1 Pop hit too with "Alone" a little over a year later.

Is this song basically saying dreams are much better than real life?

One of my favorites by the Wilson sisters and the rest of the group. It was indeed one of the best ballads that I have ever listened in such a long time although an AC staple in most markets. I never get tired of it. I thought that Never, Alone and a bubbled under single from late '87 or '88 I Want You So Bad were just as awesome. It was Heart at their best.

I love the blond in this band and how she sounds when she sings the chorus with her scratchy voice. I also like "Never" but really prefer their older stuff up until "How Can I Refuse."

Nancy was never the vocalist that Ann was, but she still had a lovely voice. I loved the raspy tone in her voice—I believe she was sick when she recorded this.

Yeah, this is my favorite song from them too. It feels like it would be a perfect song to listen to on a rainy day.

Love this. They played this song tonight on CW's TV show "In The Dark" episode "The Last Dance". The scene where Nia was beating up Murphy.

I still revisit this alot. Definitely my favorite by them. I was also really surprised how good the music video was.
