Dare I even have to mention one of the best vocalists of our generation?
The first time I heard "Look At Us" was in class during a girl named Melody's song project; this was when the song was popular among ravers and didn't hit it big on the charts yet.
I didn't know what to think when I heard Sarina Paris's beautiful voice. It was so different, so refreshing, so rare. The song was a little gem too.
I suggest all the so-called powerhouse vocalists --the Celines, Whitneys, Mariahs, Christinas, Kellys-- learn a thing or two from Ms. Paris.

lol I liked this song. EFG sent me her promo CD-single since I paid $9 every four months for the EFG Club that didn't offer ANY benefits. I cancelled my membership earlier this month since EFG's founder said Angela Via's petition would not work and that "Girl Playa No. 1" sounded "3LW-like."
He didn't say it to me. He said it to Flavoured. >:(

I remember back in 2001, I woke up to Z100 every morning and at 6 AM every day, they'd be playing this song and it was enough to put me in a bad mood for the day. I hated it.

You had a secret forum and you were entered in the contest every month! Also, you got to put up an avatar! Those benefits were worth it if you ask me.
Sarina Paris is also the hottest and most talented Canadian singer in my opinion. She has this compelling aurora that draws you into her. Very mysterious.

Actually, all the club members lost access to the inactive secret forum when EFGF switched to ubb.open.topic, or whatever. So I wasn't even able to enter the forum for the past 6 months-year anyways. I wonder if I were to log-in now, my avatar would be gone. Oh well, The Ashanti Forum and Pulse Music is enough for my daily forum needs.

I really didn't like this one...the voice, the lyrics just basically sounded annoying.

I liked this song... brings back memories of the summer of 2000. Um, it peaked on pop in the summer of 2001! ;) And I also did not like this song. It was just whiny and annoying.

I really had no use for this song. It missed my chart alltogether. I thought she sounded like a 12 yr old girl.

LOL @ Greatest Vocalist! The whole song was basically a vocoder. I liked it though. This and the followup 'Just About Enough', both of which my radio station played.

Dare I even have to mention one of the best vocalists of our generation? Go right ahead! In the meantime, I'll talk about Sarina Paris. Decent enough song, but I can see how it could get annoying rather quickly. My friend used to dance to this on DDR.

I have the same opinion of this as I did the first time I heard it: This song is just "blah".

The song sounds like several audio layers were stolen and they were too lazy to re-record them. It was an okay song as it was, but its simplicity left a lot to be desired.

Dare I even have to mention one of the best vocalists of our generation? Are you smoking crack? I like the song, but Sarina is far from being among the best vocalists of our generation.

I want to dance in the car while driving to this like that girl who looks like Natalie Imbruglia in that one car commercial.

I recall Sarina was the opening act for La Toya Jackson's special appearance in Hawaii last year. :)

I love this song, though I certainly don't agree that Sarina Paris belongs on any kind of "greatest vocalists" list. But then again I don't think Mariah Carey does either. ![](http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0244.gif)

The opening line of this reminds me of "Groovy Kind of Love" by Phil Collins. I don't like it.

Such a great song. I used to have the CD single. Too bad it doesn't get airplay anymore.
