Iconic song from my childhood!!! This is the epitome of 90s dance music!!!! I remember when this song was featured on Fresh Prince when Vivian took a dance class.

I liked it despite being overplayed on the radio back then (B96 played this song and the other C&C Music Factory singles endlessly). However, I prefer "Here We Go (Let's Rock and Roll)" as it wasn't as overplayed as this one. Nonetheless, this song is one of those signature 1990s dance tracks.

30 years ago today, "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" by C + C Music Factory featuring Freedom Williams and Martha Wash reached No.1 on the Hot 100 for the first of two weeks. It also reached No.1 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart for 5 massive weeks. And in the UK, "Sweat" peaked at No.3. I didn't like it when it came out but now I do.

This is still a banger considering how gross it was that Martha was deemed too big to appear on her own vocals.
