I found a few topics about Easton songs, but none for this one. I think this is my favorite of her hits. It peaked at #25 in 1984 on the Hot 100. In my opinion, this one let her prove that she did indeed have a voice.

This is probably my favorite Sheena Easton song, and probably the last really good song by her, before she started singing songs produced by Prince. After that, my liking for her music took a sharp nosedive. It's not that I have anything against Prince, it's just that the music wasn't anywhere near as good as her stuff from the early-mid 80s.

Always loved the song; was also a favorite of mom's.
During our interview, I mentioned how I loved the song at age 8 or so, and she's like, to paraphrase, "It's a pretty deep song for an 8-year-old." hehe I teared up when seeing/hearing her perform it at her show.
