Great song from the late winter of 1992. I think it only spent a week or 2 in the Top 40. And interestingly, a hard rock song like this didn't even crack Billboard's Top 40 portion of the Hot 100.

I liked this song. The video featured Shannen Doherty.

Actually, this is from the early fall of 1992. And it only spent a single week in R&R's Top 40. It debuted at number 39 in late September and dropped out the following week. That was the first "one-week wonder" on the R&R chart since 1979, when "Ain't That A Shame" by Cheap Trick made a brief appearance, at #30. Yeah, I'm surprised it didn't hit Billboard's Top 40, since their songs from a few years before were Top 40 BB hits, fueled almost exclusively by sales. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that the song was more radio-friendly?

No, it had to do with the fact that Slaughter were linked to the hair-metal fad, which by 1992 was already considered "the enemy" by the time grunge and alt.rock took on the Pop world by storm.

Good song, but totally forgotten. You never hear this one on retro shows like you do their first two hits ("Up All Night" & "Fly To The Angels")

It might have become a hit , had it been released one year earlier. By the second half of '92 it had become incredibly hard for a "hair-metal" band to have a hit single.
