From the soundtrack to the movie 1984...
Sexcrime peaked at #81 on the Hot 100.
The original video has been removed from YouTube at Viacom's request.
A live performance:

That removal is bogus as heck! Anyway I certainly remember this song from the fall of 1984. AT the time MTV played this as a "Sneak Preview" video before I completely lost interest in the channel almost completely. I'm surprised that it peaked so low, it was the Eurythmics for Pete's sake!

I really liked this song. It was highly underrated. That low peak is so sad.

Not one of my favorites by them, but I do like it.

Julia was the classic from the 1984 album.

This was the third song I've ever heard of them -after the classics SD and HTCRA. It reached my personal top 10 back in 1985, even though it wasn't really a hit back home. It just clicked quickly with me and I've always loved it. That dark sound of the prechorus with Annie uttering the song title followed by the bubbly doo-roo-room was a contrast I really liked. It's aged well too, as most of Eurythmics hits

Not their best, but it is entertaining.
