A minor hit in 1991, peaking at #37 on the hot 100, this is one of my fave 90's singles of hers. Surprised it wasn't more succesful, it's really catchy. It flopped in the UK too, despite following her #1 'Shoop Shoop Song' and top ten 'Love & Understanding'.
Maybe it's just me....

Incredible record.......Cher herself calls this one of the best from her catolog. When I saw her in concert a few years ago.....this was the highlight. She nails this song live!!!

The only thing that stands out from that song was that see-thru neglege (sp?) she was wearing. The only way to see that video was late at night.

Good song, I just wish it would've done better.

I love it. Underrated.
This song had actually been released by two other artists in the previous few years. Bonnie Tyler released her version in 1988, followed by Robin Beck in 1989, and then Cher in 1991.

This song had actually been released by two other artists in the previous few years. Bonnie Tyler released her version in 1988, followed by Robin Beck in 1989 ... and I find both of these versions great, while I find Cher's somewhat irksome in comparison. I'm not sure why. Something about the way Cher interprets material doesn't always translate well for me. I like quite a few of her songs, but most of the ones that compete with other popular versions tend to compare unfavorably for me.

This is one of my favorite Cher tracks, period. I got the cassingle and everything. :)
The Hot 100 peak was underwhelming, but at least it nudged into the top 40.
