This song peaked at number 30 in January 1984. I love this song to this day. There are times I play it 2-3 times in a row. It starts out quite slow, and gets somewhat upbeat. I like the piano music at the end. One of my favorite songs of 1984.
Gold always believe in your soul, you've got the power to know. Your indestuctible, always believe in, cause you are gold, gold. Glad that you're bound to return, something I could've learned. You're indestuctible, always believe in.

Love this song too! It sounds like murder mystery soundtrack music, or something like that.

To me, everything that was horrible about the 80's. Same for their hellish uber-hit 'True'.
They did do one REALLY good song called 'Through the Barricades', but otherwise I hate them.

I really wasn't that impressed, but it holds up better than Prince's "Gold."

Love this! That album was amazing. 'True' is also a gorgeous song

I like it more than "True," which I always found irritating.

I prefer "True," but this is awesome as well and I really like that chorus.

Didn't know about this song until I heard it on one of the 80s stations (Wave 103) playing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City many years ago. I really like this song despite how cheesy it sounds.
