This is still one of my favorite Mya songs to date!!! I remember after I got the single and played it all the time (as well as the B-Side "Baby it's Yours") This song just missed the pop chart, but it should've been bigger!

I found it boring before, but probably if I were to listen to it now, I'd like it.

Very good. I remember hearing her sing it on Regis and he showed a picture of the single and called it her "new album"!

I don't know whether I prefer the original by Deborah Cox or Mya's cover. This is alright.

I have not heard Deborah's version but I do not like Mya's. I found it rather boring

I like this song, but I must admit, it's one Diane Warren song that I don't find myself listening to very much. I still think that one day, a better version of the song will come out, as Mya and Deborah seem to be lacking something on their versions of the song.

I kinda liked this one. Especially through the dance mix.

This is a pretty song. It was co-written by Babyface. I have the maxi-single.
Track listing:
1. My First Night with You (Ric Wake Version) 4:30 - this was the normal radio edit 2. My First Night With You (Fernando G's Extended Vox) 6:17 3. My First Night With You (Soul Solution Extended Vox) 9:56 4. Mi Primera Vez (My First Night With You Spanish Version) 4:26

Mya's album version sucks, but the Ric Wake version is hot, as well as the Spanish version. The song takes me back to my freshman year in high school .... those were the days!

This is one song that needs a great voice to take it the next level and Mya did not do that, Deborah did. Mya's version is from a young girl, Deborah's version is from a WOMAN.

I didn't like this song at all. Very sappy and boring. There were a few other songs on her debut album that would have been better singles.

I love Mya, but it took me a second to get into her version of this song after Deborahโs version. Mya has a very pretty voice, but she almost sounds flat at certain points in the song. Iโm kind of Surprised she even remade itโฆ I got into it a few years after it was released, but Deborah owned this song. I used to giggle when she did a long note at the end of the bridge and sang/said Whoo like she just turned out the note. I do like it a lot and Iโm trying not to be shady, but it was much better suited to Deborah Cox.
