I think this song underperformed-- even though I'd heard "Sentimental" and of course "Nobody's Supposed To Be Here" it was this song that really brought Deborah to my attention. It's one of those songs that really has "the sound" of it's time, without being complete cookie cutter garbage.

For a while "It's Over Now" was my anthem. I sand this song daily and quoted it througout the day that's how much I liked this one. Another great D. Cox track that wore the clubs out, but performed low on radio.

I hate the remix (urban and dance) of this song, but the album version is fantastic. It definitely underperformed. One of her best.

I thought the dance remixes were great.

I thought the dance remixes were great. As for the remixes, I only liked Hex's Retro Mix that sampled Harold Melvin & The Bluenote's "Bad Luck". The album version was great.

I like the version on Remixed, but I'm not sure which remix that was. I also can't believe that this wasn't included on Ultimate Deborah Cox

I think the reason this song didnt do so good because the 1st single was so huge and then she turned around and released something that didn't compare with the greatness of Nobody Suppose To Be Here. IMO the best singles were the 1st and the 3rd We Cant Be Friends. I can understand why this song underperformed but I like it.

Wish this performed better. Too bad it was overshadowed by Nobody Supposed to Be Here

This bop is flaw-free. Wish it was at least mid-sized hit.

This is super cute, she had a lot of low-key jams like this though. Nothing overly impressive, but I use them occasionally.

I liked the original but I loved both Hex Hector and Junior Vasquez's remixes.
A remake by the Freemasons came out in 2005 called "Watchin". Some of the vocals from the chorus became the main hook of that remake. The original bootleg version they did before (under the name Freemaison) actually used Deborah's vocals. They had singer Amanda Wilson record the sampled vocals for the song.
