Scraped the bottom of the hot 100 and the pop charts, but was a huge international hit.
I love it. Classic pop song. Her voice is great, really suits the song. It always used to make me giggle at the point about two thirds through it where she makes a sort of cat noise.

I liked it enough to buy the CD single.

It's okay. I didn't hear it until after "One Day In Your Life" came out. I prefer "ODIYL".

Not bad...I'd probably give it a B-. I realize that grass is green, but when I first heard this, I thought I was listening to some big black lady of Aretha Franklin's physique, and I felt that way for over a year before I actually saw a picture of her.

It's pretty good. It was the highest selling single of 2000 over here. Got sick of it though, it was on radio and everywhere else constantly. "One Day In Your Life" is practically a remake of "I'm Outta Love".

KZQZ used to played this ALL the time. I thought she was another Aretha-looking singer. I was shocked when I saw her CD-single at Tower, with her light skin and blonde hair. And tattoo! (Well, the tattoo wasn't as shocking.)
I almost bought her single, then I almost bought her album, but to this day, I still don't own any of her CDs. I really want her first two albums though. Just not enough to pay more than $5 for them.

I admit she has some talent, though I've never been a fan of her songs. I liked "Paid My Dues" for a short period, but that's about it I guess...

Amazing song. I never get sick of it. No matter how much I hear it. I watch her dvd with this on it (album and remix versions) all the time. I bought the single without having heard the song. I used to love picking up $1.99 singles back when there were tons of those. Ah, back in the day...
Peace, Ben

I was also disappointed that this song didn't do better than it did. In fact, didn't it have a second chance and failed?

I love this song. She is not getting a fair shake at the US market. It's outrageous

This is actually one of my least favorite Anastacia songs. It's good don't get me wrong but I liked her a lot more when she went pop/rock ala "Left Outside Alone".

I was always surprised she never quite tapped into the American market all so much (esp. with this song). Her vocals were on point and in general this song is awfully catchy.... it's so anthemic to me.

I remember getting the single before the song took off. It was on R&R back when Y100 aired AT40 on Sunday nights, which was the only time I heard them play it. Wish it had done better.

The Hex Hector remixes for this absolutely stormed the clubs. Massive. He did a fabulous job with her "One Day In Your Life" as well. I bought her album based on this and fell in love with it. There are a lot of gems on it, including a Diane Warren ballad called "Late Last Night" that is absolute fierceness.

This song is a monster, it's a travesty America never gave Anastacia the time of day.

What happened in 2000 with this and radio? I'm still stunned this did so badly - I would've thought Sony would've put more effort into working this at radio but I guess not.

When I was living in Europe in the early 00s, Anastacia was everywhere… radio played her a lot.

QUEEN. America is tasteless, wbk. She is such a spectacular singer (a Dramatic mezzo soprano with vocals that can drown out an orchestra!) and an amazing person
