This is a great 80's song. I read somewhere that after Arista said no for Whitney Houston, it was offered to Belinda Carlisle but she wasn't a fan of the song or something. And this was in the 1990 movie "Three Men and a little lady" starring Tom Selleck and Ted Danson.

One of those nostalgic 80s tracks that's fun to listen to when it's on, but don't really seek out.

I love it! The chorus and sax solo low-key slay. :) It's one of those bubbly, sweet uptempos about love that define the 80's. I would've liked to have heard Whitney's take on this.
#5 on the BB Hot 100 #1 on the BB AC Charts

I LOVE IT! There's a mash-up of sorts that fuses this song with "Bette Davis Eyes." I like version.

Such a huge radio staple of the time. It was everywhere. I loved it then and I enjoy it now. Easy, breezy, boymeetsgirl.

I often heard this song as an 80s flashback on the AC stations (like Life FM 93.9) when I was younger. Couldn't stand this song as it often got stuck in my head. However, I can tolerate this song nowadays. music video www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhxF9Qg5mOU

One of the most AMAZING tunes of the whole 80s decade. Top 10 for me! Such a happy, powerful, uplifting song.

Yeah I love this one, too. It's odd they wrote "How Will I Know," "I Wanna Dance...," and this...and not much else?
