I was sure I'd done a topic on this song, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Anyway, it is easily one of my favorite songs of the decade so far (right up there with "I Showed Her" by O-Town). I was so pissed when the song stopped at number 29 (or so) on the CHR/Pop charts. The song should have gone at least Top Ten.

My favorite Ricky Martin song. So good, yet so overlooked.

The only tolerable thing he's ever done. Superb. I wish Meja had a bigger vocal part in it, she's the best thing about it.

(Now waiting for reception to chime in with "I like it" or "I don't like it" or maybe even "I hate it", hopefully with a link to a full audio clip of it...)

Good song. Reminds me of when Shadoe Stevens pronounced her name as "MAY-juh" when "Happy" debuted on AT40 back in 1993.

And yet, Shake Your Bon Bon went top 10. Yeah, I think that song sucked, but not as bad as "The Cup Of Life". While that song didn't go Top Ten, it did gain enough airplay to become one of the Top 100 songs of that year. Oh well, at least we didn't have to hear it, since AT40 only did a Top 40 of the year so they could do a 1990s countdown New Year's weekend and as for Rick Dees, hell, he didn't even do a 1999 year ender, since his decade end show was over two weekends.

I missed the Meja online chat the other month! So did everybody else! CoCo Lee sang Meja's part for Ricky's Asia tour.

This song is so cheesy. It cracks me up when I listen to it... I can't believe everyone here likes it so much. It's as cheesy as any Celine Dion song can get....... *come to meeeeeeeeeee*
I like it for novelty/laugh value.

Not a bad song. I liked Meja much more. I didn't give a rats tail about Ricky on this recording.

I didn't appreciate the song until it's chart run started winding down.

I like it. It brings back good memories. Although I like "All About The Money" better.

This is pretty good. He was capable of making some great songs, it's just the horrible ones that we all remember him by. (although if you asked me, there was nothing wrong with "La Vida Loca".)
And I was shocked at the song's chart performance, or lack thereof.

I like the other version better with "Sertab Erener". Only tolerable thing Mr. Martin is involved in.
