This was a pretty good track from the 80s. It wasn't a massive hit, but it has been remembered (at least now). This one had decent vocals and the hook of it was really infectious. Check it out. This is the rare Freestyle Mix. s42.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3GHQX77N6EZS836H05YHEN8QTT

The song in itself is ok. It's a bit dull though.

I like this one. It has a connection to Halifax too. One of the members of the Cutting Crew, Kevin McMicheal was from here. Sadly he passed away from Cancer a few years ago

This was a pretty good track from the 80s. It wasn't a massive hit, but it has been remembered (at least now). This one had decent vocals and the hook of it was really infectious. It was too a massive hit (here in the States anyway). Well, massive by late-80s standards, when two weeks at number one and fourteen weeks on the chart was considered very good. As for my opinion of the song, I liked it a tad at first, but after hearing it again and again and again and again and again, I got very tired of it. I'm still burned out on it, partially because it's still overplayed on 80s and Gold-based AC stations. I liked their other big Top Ten hit from 1987, "I've Been In Love Before", though. And I especially liked "One For The Mockingbird", which barely touched the chart during the summer of 1987. They had a few minor AC hits in the early 1990s, "Everything But My Pride" and "The Last Thing". Both songs are pretty good. But the Cutting Crew will always be famous for "(I Just) Died In Your Arms".

Good, but I prefer "I've Been In Love Before". "One for the Mockingbird" is not bad either.

Love this classic. This can be heard in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

It was fairly decent. I have no idea what anyone in the band looks like. Kinda like Chicago post Peter Cetera.

Every time I would think of AOR music this was the one song that always came to mind. So, I used to hate it for that for reason for years (I used to think AOR music was cheesy, lame and bland). Over the years I've grown to love this kind of music a lot, however, and this song as well. I played GTA Vice City again recently and when this song came on I enjoyed it. I really like it, I love the outro with the guitar solo.
It reached the top of the BB charts in 1987. It was also a solid hit internationally.

I like this, big 80s classic. I've heard this at least a few times every year since around the late 90s I think. Gold airplay has definitely helped it reach new generations as an artifact of that era.

I would only want to hear it a few times per year, lol. It's a decent song and everything but not something I would jam to on a regular basis. That being said, it's a perfect '80s flashback because it doesn't get much more '80s than this.

One of the best 80s pop/AC songs. I often heard it as an 80s flashback on the AC stations in my market though my best early memory of this song was its inclusion in GTA Vice City (on the Emotion AC station).
