HOT DUET!!!! Music VideoThe song was a huge hit worldwide, but stateside it was a cancelled radio release because it, at the time, didn't have the apparent crossover power as Celine's previous singles did. Probably my overall favorite Celine track.

YUCK! What a horrible collaboration!

I think this reached #2 on the AC chart.

I've always thought this song has some bulls**t lyrics. Those lyrics aren't realistic..Silly song.

I liked this at the time (I was Céline obsessed), but my God this is an over-the-top schlockfest. She had a handful of songs from this album that would have been better single choices.

Schlock. It's exactly what a Celine and Barbra duet should sound like. Thank God she had "MHWGO" on that album, it wouldn't have sold 1/10th of what it did without it.

I don’t care what anyone says. This song was great!! It’s beautiful. I know many find it cheesy and I suppose I can see that, but I don’t think it sounds much different than a lot of Barbara’s ballads. I still listen to it here and there. Maybe if Babs didn’t chicken out of their Grammy award performance it would have done a bit better??

I think this was the lead single so Sony could essentially say "Look, we got Barbra Streisand on a Celine song!" Originally it was supposed to be "The Reason" but that got changed quickly. It debuted at #10 on R&R's AC chart (peaked at #3). Legacy artists especially then also tended to do better in international markets (peaked at #3 in the UK which at the time was only Celine's 3rd top 3 in the UK).
Billboard peaks:
AC: #5 Hot 100 Airplay (now called "Radio Songs"): #58
