Not crazy about this song...
If I remember correctly, it was on the chart around the same time as Barry Manilow's "The Old Songs".

I thought it was a pretty good song. I really liked the music and the tune. Yes, MST3K, it was on the chart the same time as "The Old Songs."

I like a lot of Neil Diamond songs, though this one's just ok in my opinion. But I have to say, he's an amazing artist, not to mention songwriter.

I can't believe I never commented on this song, since it's definitely one of my favorites.
I vaguely remember hearing it in late 1981/early 1982, but I didn't listen to the radio as much back then.
This song hit the Top Ten in R&R in December, 1981.
