For some reason, it doesn't seem like this song is from 1985. Maybe it's because when I first heard it, nearly a decade later when I lived in LA, they played it so often I thought it was a new song. Anyway, I still hear it once in a while... I like it a lot.

The track featured on Freddy Kruger's Nightmare On Elm Street Part 4 . As many times as I have seen that movie, I remember the scene as well. It's when the boy is working out(in the garage) with boxing gloves and his father comes home from work. He sees his father with the look of greeting him but instead his father gives him the cold shoulder and replies, "Looking for something?", then proceeds into the house. I recharted that song in 2003 on my personal charts. The band reunited a year later on VH1's "Bands Reunited" for on show as far as I know.

Nice, I'll have to look for that episode of "Bands Reunited". I saw ones with Berlin and A Flock of Seagulls. Cool stuff.

"give you candy, give you pills, give you anything you want, hundred dollar bills..." An 80s favorite of mine.

I quite like it. I heard it as a gold circa 2002 on a radio station that took about a year to be added on the alternative panel and I thought it sounded fresh for something actually released in 1985 as well. Could have passed for some of what was out in the early 90s.
I heard Buckcherry's version 7 years ago that was alright. It appears they had already done it several years before and contributed it to Road Trip's soundtrack.

Love it!
Hard to believe this wasn't a hit upon original release. It got a lot of attention a few years later after it was featured in Nightmare on Elm Street 4 and then became an Alternative staple throughout the 90's.
