I don't believe there's been a topic for this song. Anyways, this is the best song on Toxicity, and one of my favorite songs ever. I love the varied tempos and vocal patterns of this one, and I don't know a good description of this one, but I love it.
On another note, here's how I'd grade SOAD's singles Sugar: A Spiders: A+[/b] Chop Suey!: A+ Toxicity: A Aerials: A+ Innervision: B+ Boom: B
Several of their album cuts have made my personal chart, including one from Steal This Album.

This song rules!
And I pretty much agree with halo20's grades except that I'd give "Boom!" a higher grade and "Sugar" a lower one.

Strange song, but I don't mind it. SOTD is not one of my favorite groups, but this song is ok.

Another A+[/color] from me. I actually just noticed that after this song blew us all away in 2001, the lamer, more commercial new metal bands began to fade away at just about exactly that time.

I don't remember many people being in love with this song when it first came out, and then especially after 9/11, people were all over this song like white on rice in that "oh my god this song is a classic!" sort of way.
I love it.
Where At the Drive In were originally labeled "the new Rage Against the Machine", System Of a Down have taken over that title.

Annoying and the video was also very annoying. I just hated the sudden verses....

My roommate "sang" this song one time at karaoke a couple years ago... LMAO!
I still can't stand the lead singer's voice.

Did that person butcher it like when Avril Lavigne did this in her concert ??? Nah, he sounded a lot like the real version (of course the instrumental track being excellent helped a lot). LOL, Avril did a version of "Chop Suey"? Now that I've gotta hear... ![](http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0270.gif)

LMAO... holy crap that's funny s**t. I like the incredulous "what?" at the :12 mark (sounds like a confused audience member). ![:d](http://images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif)

I own a burnt copy of Toxicity. All three singles are great. My favorite is "Aerials".

I'll be honest, this is one of the worst songs I've ever heard.

I like it , but it's a little bit overrated (and overplayed). I see that SOAD are one of the more creative bands on Active Rock radio these days but I never understood why there's THAT much praise for their music.
