I love this song!
I first heard it in '96. A New Orleans top-40 station--KHOM (Mix 104.1)--had played it one night.

Is this a dance song?

Yes, it's dance. They said the group name a lot.

This song is soooo hot. I like the part where it slows down... "Planet... planet... planet... soul."

So so annoying. I couldn't stand it. KIIS played the heck outta it.

I only know this song because it exclusively made Rick Dee's countdown during his period of independence in 1996. It was later played at a few sporting events in the following years. I liked it well enough, but I'm glad this didn't turn out to be that big of a hit, because even though it was as infectious as a dance beat should be, it was way too repetitive and I could see it wearing out very quickly.

I liked it alright. I didn't love it or anything, I just liked listening to it. I heard it quite a bit, actually.

Hot song. I believe it hit #25 on the HOT 100 and went gold.

That is a great song! It was the perfect combination of house and freestyle music. This song was a big hit in San Francisco. The Wicked Mix and Fever Mix were really popular.

Good dance song but I hated the constant repetition of the song title in this. I also love the part where it slows down.

This song got played everywhere down here for like 2 years. I was surprised to find out it only reached #42 on Pop. Of course the duo was from Miami, so that explains it.
Nadine Renee, the lead vocalist, died in 2004 from childbirth complications.

This song was on one of the big underground Dance labels at the time, Strictly Rhythm. They had only a few crossovers like Reel 2 Real's "I Like To Move It", Ruffneck & Yavahn's "Everybody Be Somebody", and this. The single was certified gold in the U.S. Brand new versions using the original vocals were released in 2008.
Jocelyn Enriquez's crossover hit "A Little Bit Of Ecstasy" a couple of years later was influenced by this song, having a similar type of production and even a breakdown to a slow section 3/4 of the way through before dropping back into the original tempo at the end.

One of my favorite 90s dance records. This was more of a house/freestyle hybrid track. This song, like many dance tracks of the time, did far better on rhythmic than on mainstream top 40. I heard this song alot on B96 back in the day. This act also had a follow-up single "Feel the Music".
