The biggest pop hit for one of Canada's main contributions to the 80's arena rock scene. Although not too different from most other power ballads in this era, I really like it. Maybe my favorite Loverboy song.
This song appeared on the "Top Gun" soundtrack but did not show up in the movie.

From what I hear this is the song that ended Loverboy as well as the duet Almost Paradise. Mike Reno wanted to soften up but the rest of the band wanted to rock. I like this song as well as most form the guys.

It wasn't the whole song, though. Similar situation with "Love The World Away" by Kenny Rogers in "Urban Cowboy".

Liked this... though not as much as their other huge ballad "This Could Be The Night"...

Liked this... though not as much as their other huge ballad "This Could Be The Night"... Interestingly, both songs peaked at #8 on the R&R charts. However, pointwise, "Heaven In Your Eyes" was slightly bigger, as it appeared on R&R's Top 86 of 1986 while "This Could Be The Night" did not. I'll bet it came close, though.
